As part of the Canterbury Cricket community team you will deliver national participation programmes, and connect with schools, clubs and communities to create and pilot local initiatives, with the overall aim of growing the community game. Some of these include Smash Play, Girls Smash, Yeah! Girls, All Abilities Cricket, and Ethnic Family Days. You will also provide support to coaches within junior cricket through the delivery of coaching courses and a physical presence at club/school sessions.  

The GDOs focus is to attract new people to our game, particularly those that are currently under-represented, by providing quality cricket experiences suited to each groups wants and needs. The ability to listen, learn and collaborate with these groups is key.
